I have created a series of graphics in regards to the coronavirus and the situations it has created in the United States. The situations I have responded to include xenophobia and shelter in place procedures. I wanted to address how the hate and racism towards Asian Americans, specifically Chinese Americans, is wrongfully placed and does not solve any problems. This and protesting the shelter in place orders only makes matters worse.

I originally created these in Spring 2020, right after my campus went remote. Recently I have recreated them using my new skills and knowledge.

Atrament was the primary typeface used to suggest an impactful and almost urgent feeling. The colors used are inspired by the colors of the American flag.

Each poster addresses the major messages that circulated when COVID-19 first began to spread.
